1.  You should go to the hospital for a medical check-up and get a medical report.(Your photo is needed)

2.  Prepare well for the photocopy of your passport and visa.

3.  Fill out the Accommodation Registration Form for Visitors of Overseas and hand in to the international affairs office.

4.  Fill out the VISA / STAY PERMIT/RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION FORM.(Your photo is needed)

5.  If it is the first time you have ever been to China, you need to fill out the form of Qualification Interview for Residence Permit in China.

All of the documents above should start to be prepared one month before the deadline of your residence permit because it takes almost two weeks to get everything ready, including stamps on each document and the medical report from the hospital. Special attention should be paid while the expiry date is on the weekend.  Every illegal stay in China will result in a 500 yuan fine per day and your illegal behavior will be recorded by the public security system, and it will affect your further study in China or reentery China.

Having prepared well for the documents above, you can take the application letter of our university from the international affairs office and go to the exit- entry bureau(出入境） to apply for a residence permit/extension of residence permit.（The location of exit-entry bureau is shown on the map below)

The exit- entry bureau(出入境）is on the third floor of this building.
