A gathering was arranged by International School in the Teaching Building 3-402, on Friday June, 28. 2019. The gathering was held in the presence of International school Dean Liu, Vice Dean Mr. Qin, International Student Affairs office staff and head teachers.
During the starting of the meeting, all the students received A letter for Parents of International Students. The letter distribution was made with the intention of passing some important instructions and kind suggestions to the students’ parents. As the letter gives parents precise information concerning studies, students’ duties and important life matters, it is believed to allow the international school and parents to build a closer relationship to cooperatively manage the coming academic year as well as the summer holiday that is soon approaching.
The host vice Dean Mr. Qin opened the meeting by passing his warm greetings to all the attendees. He congratulated students to have finished the current school semester and wished them a great summer holiday. He wished them good grades on the final exams. Mrs. Zeng gave a brief introduction on the main contents of the letter concerning the Summer Holiday time frame (July, 1-Aug., 22) and the adequate funds for the study and life of the coming academic year.
Dean Liu opened her speech by addressing on issues of safety. She reminded how important it is, and the students should pay more attention to their safety at all times. She mentioned how much they were expected to take care of themselves while traveling within or out of China.
She also motivated students to grow in every dimension of life and to always be wise enough to use every opportunity they get to improve themselves. She reminded students the value of time and advised to take a good use of their holidays ahead, to review lessons...
The meeting was subsequently wrapped up by vice Dean Mr. Qin’s holiday wishes and his wise advice. Mr. Qin reminded students to have a balanced life, and wished them to have a productive and enjoyable holiday.
