—— 湖北科技学院巴基斯坦留学生范汉达抗“疫情”经历

My name is Fahad Hussain. My Chinese name is 范汉达. I'm from Pakistan. I have lived in China since December 2016. I'm also experiencing the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

(我叫范汉达。于2016年12月份来到中国，就读于湖北科技学院临床医学专业。作为一名巴基斯坦留学生，我也在亲身经历着抗击新型冠状病毒的战役。）

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19/20) broke out in December. Identified by the health department of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province in China. During the Spring Festival, the most important festival in China, the number of people affected by the disaster increased rapidly.

（经湖北省武汉市卫建委确认，新冠肺炎疫情(COVID-19/20)爆发于2019年12月底，也正是中国最重要的春节期间，感染人数上升较快。）

Spring Festival is the time when people travel to their hometowns, which leads to large-scale traveling. Because of the virus, the Chinese government issued a notice to lockdown the cities, and everyone cooperated with the government and they returned their tickets. Chinese people avoid traveling and set an example of being marvelous citizens.

（春节是中国人回家与亲人团聚、会形成大规模人员移动的节日。但为了避免更多的人被感染，中国政府发布了“封城令”。伟大的中国人民，令行禁止，积极配合，取消了原有行程，并通过网络退掉了预定的回乡火车或飞机票。）

When everything is locked down, the government makes sure that everyone is getting the daily necessities, including the availability of surgical masks, disinfectants, and other medical things.

（尽管城市被封了，但政府确保了日常用品及外科口罩、消毒液等医疗物资的供应。）

There should a big appreciation for the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and the volunteers. Without them, it's impossible to fight against this deadly virus. Their hard work in such a critical situation will always be remembered.

（在这里，我要对所有在“疫情”前线作战的医生、护士、急救人员及志愿者献上最崇高的敬意和感谢！没有他们无私的奉献，是不可能打赢这场“抗疫”之战！我永远不会忘记他们在这关键的时刻付出的牺牲和汗水。）

I'm living in China since 2016. While being here, I always feel that I'm living in my other home. Whenever it's a difficult time for China we Pakistani people feel that it's a difficult  time fit Pakistan.

（我从2016年开始就一直生活在这里，我总是觉得这里就是我的第二故乡，中国人民的痛也就是我们巴基斯坦人民的痛。）

From the beginning of the outbreak of coronavirus in China, Pakistan keeps supporting its iron brother China on every level. Senate of Pakistan passed a resolution to solidarity and support China.

（从疫情爆发开始，巴基斯坦参议院就通过了一项决议，从各个层面支持我们的“铁哥们”——中国）

The government of Pakistan also decided not to evacuate his students from China to give a positive message to the world that China is safe to live and there is no fear to live.

(巴基斯坦政府也决定不从中国撤侨，以此向全世界传达一个积极的信息：在中国生活是安全的。）

Chinese people and the Chinese government are on the same page, fighting against the coronavirus unitedly and courageously. They have almost defeated this invisible monster. Bright and prosperous days are coming quickly.

（中国政府与中国人民团结一致，勇敢地抗击看不见的新冠病毒。他们已经取得了这场战争的主动权，最后的胜利马上就要到来，和谐繁荣的日子又会回来。）

Hitherto, 24-02-2020 more than 23000 people have been treated successfully and discharged from the hospitals.

（到2020年2月24日为止，超过23,000名感染者已被治愈出院！）

I would like to say thanks to the Chinese government and our Chinese teachers. They are taking good care of us like their own family members. They provide us every single thing of our needs at our doorstep including free medical stuffs, free meals, free water and milk and other daily necessaries. They made us feel that we are not alone here far away from the home, we have family members in the shape of our beloved teachers and Chinese friends。

（再次，我要感谢中国政府，感谢我们的老师。他们像照顾自己的孩子一样细致入微地守护着我们：他们把我们所需的一切物资，如免费的医疗物资、水、牛奶还有免费的餐券送到了我的公寓大厅，也把替我们代购的其他生活必需品送到了公寓大厅。他们对我们如沐春风的关心和照顾，让远离家乡的我们并不感到孤独和寂寞。我们敬爱的老师和中国朋友就是在“疫情”艰难时刻守护我们的家人啊！）

LIFE IS NOT FRAGILE，

WE HUMANS KNOWS HOW TO SURVIVE.

EACH SUCH ADVERSITY ACTUALLY MAKES THE HUMAN RACE FITTER TO SURVIVE，

THE WAR AGAINST THE CORONAVIRUS WILL SOON BE WIN BY CHINA.

生命并不脆弱，

我们人类知道如何生存，

每一次这样的灾难，实际上都会使人类更适合生存，

中国很快就会赢得这场战争。
